Type Rating

DURATION:
  • At least 200 hrs total flight time as a pilot of aeroplanes
  • Valid ATPL/ CPL or valid theoretical ATPL with a valid CPL or
  • Valid PPL or CPL with HPA Qualification
  • Multi engine – instrument rating
  • Adequate fluency in reading, speaking and understanding of the English language

The Last Step Before Take-Off

A type rating is necessary to pilot certain types of aircraft, e.g. Airbus A320 or Boeing B737. After finishing the flight training, either your employer will specialize you in a specific aircraft type or you can obtain such a rating yourself.

FFH offers type ratings on the following aircraft:

  • Cessna Mustang C510
  • Beechcraft KingAir 90-200
  • Piper Malibu PA46
